A proof of concept research project establishing the potential continuity oportunities across the diverse spectrum of skills and potentially influences established within the core research basis
SEED (School of Environment, Education and Development) has five departments brings a different perspective that could benifit from a more robust culture of knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas, developments and ultimately strategies
REALISING THE CIVIC
Creating a visual representation of the current and historic impact of research, teaching and outreach work of SEED members. Using counter-mapping technique that has been developed to make visible the physical spaces and ontological fields of production encompassed by SEED members and their professional productions. This visualisation process will allow for future assessment of their impact on the individuals & communities that are directly and indirectly affected by the work of SEED and contribute to future plans of work.
Workshops/ Meetings.
The mapping emerges from the first hand information gathered from discussions with SEED members and second hand research, data scraping of published/ submitted investigative work of SEED members (past and present) as information on the PURE database. Integrated Spatialisation (geography/ spaces of action) based on SEED members activities, Indexing/ Legend describing of the nature of contacts/ collaborations & communications developed as part of a knowledge exchange value adding process.
