Using wire, cable ties and climbing ropes, we have transformed this old Victoria water pumping station in Stoke Newington, Hackney, London into a breathing organism characterised by the contrast between its fragility and utilitarian properties.

‘TRANSitions’ is a shifting mass, a volume experienced as being in constant change, a flux of perspectives and forms as a way to explore the viewer’s relationship to and within the space before its redevelopment.
